Employee Initiatives
For us, inclusion means enabling each employee to make the most of their abilities and find success because of the unique backgrounds, experiences and perspectives they bring to the firm. Our people are a key component of our diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy and employee initiatives help bring their views to life.

DEI Champions
Our global DEI Champions group brings together global employee network leaders, regional champions, and representatives from key functions to update on DEI and community activity, share best practices and give input into wider corporate and strategic decision‐making.
Between them, they connect with all parts of the firm at all levels and generate ideas as well as put them into action.
The DEI Champions meet monthly and have an active voice in designing and shaping plans.
Employee Networks
Our employee networks are global, employee-led and bring people together who share identities, interests and ambitions for personal development and DEI progress. We have networks covering gender, ethnicity, LGBTQ+, next generation, family, carers, disability, sport and wellbeing. Each employee network has its own initiatives, and networks collaborate on initiatives with other networks, business areas, external partners and community groups too. Networks are supported by executive sponsors from across the business.

Intersectionality
We recognise that people all have multiple, overlapping identities that may impact on their experiences in different ways.
Intersectionality is a lens through which we look to understand how different types of inequity can happen together and potentially amplify each other.
Cooperation among different groups can help solve shared problems, and so we encourage collaboration between our employee networks.
To honour Zero Discrimination Day and The International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, our UNIFY Network partnered with our Together Network to host a breakfast event across seven global offices to raise awareness of sexual orientation and race-based discrimination.
