Sonia has extensive experience as an executive and non-executive in the financial services industry in North America and the UK, and brings to the Board a broad knowledge of the financial services industry. She spent most of her executive career at CIBC, and currently serves as the President and CEO of the Global Risk Institute in Canada.
She is an accomplished board director and senior leader, who has previously served on the board of RSA Insurance Group plc; her background and expertise also enhances the Board’s understanding of North American markets.
