ICG, the global alternative asset manager, today announced three new hires to support business growth and development across Europe. Rob Reynolds joins as European Head of Insurance Coverage, Alex Dewey joins as Head of European Real Estate Fundraising and Anahita Firouzbakht joins as Principal, focusing on consultant relations.
Rob will be responsible for driving business growth and supporting clients across the insurance space, leveraging his deep industry network. He joins from Apollo Global Management where since 2017 he oversaw growth of their third-party insurance related business across Europe and worked closely with their affiliated insurance balance sheets. Previously, Rob spent seven years at J.P Morgan Asset Management as a Client Advisor in their Global Insurance Solutions group and started his career serving as an Officer in the British Army.
Alex will be responsible for driving growth across ICG’s real estate franchise, primarily through working alongside leading European real estate allocators. He joins with over 15 years of experience, having most recently worked at CBRE as a Senior Director in their European Equity Placement team. He also worked for EY as an Assistant Director in Real Estate Corporate finance and as an Associate Partner in the Corporate Finance Group at Cushman & Wakefield.
Anahita has joined ICG’s UK Marketing & Client Relations team, focusing on consultant coverage, reflecting the growing importance of consultants in the marketplace. Previously, Anahita spent over five years at BlueBay Asset Management as Director in the Consultant Relations team, leading their Global and UK coverage. She also served as a Vice President on the Global Consultant Relations team at Pictet Asset Management and Assistant Vice President on the Investment Solutions Team at Partners Group. She was also a Vice President within the sales team at Duet Asset Management.
