ICG, the global alternative asset manager, today announced that it has appointed Nick Kogevinas and Benjamin Zülch as Managing Directors within the SDP team, based in London and Frankfurt, respectively.
Nick joins ICG with more than 19 years of experience in Leveraged Finance roles, across UK and US markets, having most recently worked in Citigroup’s leveraged finance team for 15 years originating both sponsor and corporate leveraged financings in Western Europe. Previous to this, Nick worked at BNP Paribas in their Leveraged Finance division focused on mid-market transactions. Nick holds an MBA from Georgetown University. Nick will be responsible for SDP’s UK market and sponsor coverage.
Benjamin Zülch will take on the responsibility for origination and execution of investment opportunities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Benjamin joins from Hayfin, where he served as a Managing Director in the private credit investment team for over 11 years.
Prior to this, he worked in M&A advisory and leveraged finance at Dresdner Kleinwort. Benjamin studied at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main and the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and graduated with a Master in Business Administration with a specialisation in Finance.
