Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) has appointed Vivien Blossier as Head of European Secondary Investments, responsible for building out ICG’s presence in private equity funds investments in Europe.
ICG’s Private Equity Funds Investments team currently manages the $1bn (£811m) ICG Enterprise Trust, which has just been promoted to London’s FTSE 250 index.
Vivien has joined ICG in London from Unigestion, where he was responsible for the sourcing, the execution and the portfolio monitoring of European Secondary private equity investments. Prior to this, he worked for five years at Pomona Capital and held several roles in direct private equity and in investment banking.
At ICG, Vivien will work with Oliver Gardey, Head of Private Equity Funds Investments, to leverage ICG’s success in the alternative assets market to build out its platform more widely in Europe.

Vivien is a great addition to our strengthening global team. We continue to see great potential and significant opportunities to extend our exposure to the private equity market. The appointment of Vivien enables us to take advantage of the opportunities we see ahead in the fast growing private equity space.
Vivien Blossier said:
I am thrilled to be joining forces with Oliver again and to be joining a fast-growing company like ICG that is developing its footprint in the private equity funds investment space.
